Company history
The original activity of REMA Company began in 1951 and was concentrated on machinery industry. Since 1963 the Company specializes in the production of woodworking machinery (under the name Reszelski Zakład Przemysłu Maszynowego i Leśnictwa). In the current legal form Company has been operating since 31.12.1990 as a result of the commercialization of state-owned enterprise.
In this period, the Company commenced intensive efforts to gain foreign markets, which included its own sales network on foreign markets. Sales grew rapidly, participation in fairs allowed to establish contacts with new business partners. The highest turnover was recorded in 1994-1995. In the given period, the share of foreign sales in the total sales of the Company amounted to 70%. The main markets are: Belgium, Sweden, Czech Republic, Austria, USA. In the years 1995-2005 for the specified area significantly changed the machines portfolio. Production of "hobby" category, for example DMXA-32 and DYMC-8 have been replaced by sliding table panel saws with scoring units, hydraulic press and multi-blades rip saws. Since 1996, after the introduction of sliding table panel saw type DMMD-40, the Company entered into a new path of development, which results in the position of unquestionable leader among domestic manufacturers of sliding table panel saws.
